The Village of Netheravon lies about 9 miles to the south of Pewsey and about 12 miles to the north of Salisbury and offers a good range of local facilities including a post office/general stores, church, public house and primary school.  There are mainline rail services to London Paddington from Pewsey (journey time approximately 75 minutes) and to London Waterloo from Salisbury (journey time approximately 90 minutes).  The A303 is about 4 miles to the south giving access to the M3.  The site occupies a prominent position on the junction of Salisbury Road with Piggott Close, with both easy access to the village and its facilities as well as views over open farmland to the west.
