Train services run from Hungerford, or Great Bedwyn to Paddington in around an hour or from Andover 12 miles away, to London Waterloo in 65 minutes.  The M4 is accessed at J14 some 8 miles away and the A303/M3 is reached at Andover.  The area is renowned for its excellent schools: primary schools at Great Bedwyn and at Stepping Stones in Froxfield, prep schools at Horris Hill, Cheam, Farleigh and Pinewood.  St John's  Academy Marlborough, Marlborough College, St Mary’s Calne and Downe House are all nearby.

Entrance Hall with tiled floor and exposed brick work with plumbing for washing machine leads to a Shower Room with tiled floor, hand basin, shower and heated towel rail.  There is a separate WC which also houses the central heating boiler.  The Kitchen is new and has a laminate floor, a good range of floor and wall units, sink with one and a half bowl, fridge, electric oven and hob and integrated dishwasher.  The Sitting Room is  spacious  and carpeted room with exposed brickwork and beams with French windows leading to the patio and small lawn area.  The Double Bedroom is carpeted with exposed brickwork and beams.

From Hungerford

Take the A4 heading West out of Hungerford and after 2.3 miles turn left towards Oak Hill.  Take the next turning on the right and the cottage is to be found on the right adjacent to Stepping Stones Nursery.

From Marlborough

Take the A4 heading East out of Marlborough and after 7.3 miles turn right towards Oak Hill.  Take the next turning on the right and the cottage is to be found on the right adjacent to Stepping Stones Nursery.
